What is memory? Biologically, the ability to remember was tied to the ability to learn, to adapt from given information and experiences. And yet what about in the modern day? Why are we required to remember some things and yet not others? Why do we choose to remember some things and not others? What memories to we supress, and what do we choose to ignore completely? Do we have a duty to remember, as to validiate some past event or give meaning to our lives, even if we never even experienced that event?
Feel free to interpret this as you will. I enjoy the ambiguity more than anything. What is it that you must remember not to forget? What is the modern purpose of memory?

My mother and I often communicate through stickynotes since we often arn't home at the same time. I grabbed a few and spent an hour writing on 'em, and then stuck 'em to my square yard clipboard and spent a week drawing 'em.
